The Best Sport Watches of the Year

There is nothing quite like a good quality sports watch. The ability to perform a range of fantastic functions, combined with their often unique designs and tough durability make them a joy to behold. This year has seen a variety of brilliant sport watches and in no particular order, here are the best four of the bunch.

1. Audemars Piguet: Royal Oak Offshore

We’ll start with one that is effectively out of the price range of most of the British population. At a staggering £40,000, Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak Offshore is effectively the most expensive sports watch out there and for good reason too.

While many would argue that no watch is worth tens of thousands of pounds, for those who have such money to splash, the Royal Oak Offshore is a fantastic purchase. 18-carat pink gold and black rubber forms the luxury timepiece, along with finely polished Royal Oak of course. The combination is exquisite to say the least.

2. Tissot: T-Race

Priced at just over £400, Tissot’s T-Race speaks a more common language for most of us!

With rose gold plated case material, a 1/10th of a second chronograph, Swizz quartz movement, a brake inspired bezel and lap timing, this sports inspired watch is ideal for racing lovers.

3. Longines: Longines Sport Conquest

There is usually a marked difference between a classy and elegant timepiece and a classic-looking sport’s watch. The Longines Sport Conquest attempts and manages to bridge this gap through the style of its chronograph and crown protectors.

At only £620 on: http://www.watches-of-switzerland.co.uk/brands/longines-watches, this stainless steel watch is a certified steal (no pun intended).

4. Tag Heuer: Formula 1 Steel and Ceramic

There is a myth that sport watches are a man’s thing and not very ladylike. This however, is but a myth and Tag Heuer’s Formula 1 Steel and Ceramic is proof of the folly behind such an assertion.

This is a timepiece that is fashion forward as well as performance orientated. Powered by automatic movement, the watch boasts an exquisite combination of steel, diamonds and ceramic.

Fashionable and sporty, the Formula 1 Steel and Ceramic is a pure delight. Functionality is added by the date window at 3 o’clock, while the timepiece is also impressively 200m deep water resistant.
